Whitechapel "Rituals of Hate" 2025 Tour Animation
Whitechapel approached me directly to create an original animation for their 2025 Rituals of Hate tour and latest album Hymns in Dissonance. The brief was to bring the album's iconic mascot character to life in a cinematic piece that captured the band's dark, visceral aesthetic.
The animation follows a shadowy cult performing an induction ritual — luring a new member into their fold before sacrificing him in service of their sinister order. The narrative draws directly from the lore surrounding the album artwork and music videos, expanding the world of the mascot into a fully realized dark environment.
Built entirely in Unreal Engine 5 and Blender, the animation was released across Whitechapel's social channels and quickly became one of their highest-performing Instagram videos, resonating strongly with the band's fanbase and generating significant engagement across their audience.
